I Am Just Going Outside and May Be Some Time….The Rubicon Christmas Field Trip
12/8/2011Rubicon Archaeology Group | Ireland

Some months after the 'Legion of the Damned' fieldwork adventure, the Rubicon office team was treated to a Christmas site visit to the excavations at Caherduggan Castle. The group included experienced former field archaeologists, people who had not seen a field in years and more recent converts to the comforts of office work.

The weather was suitably dreadful: freezing cold, with near-hurricane conditions forecast. The outcome of the trip was recorded in a series of photographs.
