Neil Johnston of UCD School of History and Archives asked us to pass on news of the Tudor and Stuart Ireland Conference at University College Dublin on 31 August–1 September 2012. The call for papers was due to close on 27 April, with proposals invited on any aspect of society in the Tudor and Stuart eras. Postgraduate researchers were particularly encouraged to submit papers.

The plenary address was to be delivered by Professor John Patrick Montaño of the University of Delaware, author of The Roots of English Colonialism in Ireland.
